If you’re looking for Lemwarm review—you’re not going to find much.
No ratings on G2. Nothing on Capterra. One lonely review on Trustpilot. That’s it!
For a tool that claims to improve your email deliverability, that’s… suspiciously quiet.
That’s why I decided to test it myself.
In this blog, I will tell you:
- If Lemwarm can actually help you improve your email deliverability.
- If it’s worth the price of $24 or $49/month/inbox.
I’ll also share an alternative that can improve your deliverability at a fraction of the price.
Let’s get started!
LemWarm Review TOC
TL;DR: Is It Lemwarm Worth the Price?
If you’re in a hurry, I’ve got you covered:
Did Lemwarm Work?
Yes, it did!
My email account’s sender reputation and inbox placement increase significantly throughout the 4-5 week warmup period.
Was Lemwarm Worth the Price?
No – I found Lemwarm to be way too expensive!
This is especially true because there are other cost-effective alternatives I would choose to get the same (sometimes even better) results!
Lemwarm Alternative To Get The Job Done at Cost
One Lemwarm alternative that I recommend is TrulyInbox.
It can get the job done at a more competitive price!
Why it’s Better:
- You can connect unlimited email accounts.
- You’re not charged per inbox.
- You get a forever-free plan to try and test the platform.
- There are no fluff features to inflate the price.
In the next section, I will review each of Lemwarm’s features in-depth.
Check it out!
What are Lemwarm’s Top Features?
To do a complete review of Lemwarm, I subscribed to the Smart Plan – $49/month/inbox – connected my new email account, and started testing it.
Here’s a breakdown of Lemwarm’s features and my experience with them:
1. Warm Up
After purchasing the plan, setting up my email account hardly took 15 minutes!
The onboarding guide was easy to understand and covered everything you need to know.
Once you’re in, you can head straight to the Warm-Up Settings.
Here, you can set things like:
- Maximum Number of Emails/Day – Max. limit in Lemwarm is 40
- Ramp-Up Increment Value – Recommended is 2 emails/day maximum.
That’s it! Lemwarm automatically starts your email warm-up process in the background.
If you get the Smart plan—$49/month/inbox—you get access to the Smart Cluster feature.
You’ll have to answer a few targeting questions—B2B or B2C, ICP, industry, etc.—and Lemwarm will “personalize” your warm-up process accordingly.
But frankly?
This feature feels like fluff designed to inflate the price.
The core warm-up functionality works just fine without it. Moving on!
2. DNS Check
Lemwarm also comes with a DNS Check feature to ensure your email authentication setup is airtight.
It verifies whether you’ve correctly configured:
- SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
- Your Custom Tracking Domain
- Other essential authentication settings
Plus, it provides a SpamAssassin score, which helps you assess how likely your emails are to land in the spam folder based on current DNS and content parameters.
It’s a quick way to catch issues that could affect your email deliverability.

3. Email Warmup Network & Smart Cluster
When it comes to its warmup network, Lemwarm claims to have 20K+ healthy domains.
One way to take advantage of this network is through its Smart Cluster feature, which is available in the Smart Plan.
However, I had a very mixed experience with this feature.
I selected industries like construction, higher education, and manufacturing—but still got emails from totally unrelated sectors.
You also get to pick target regions.
But the list includes places like Afghanistan, Angola, Anguilla, and dozens more that made me pause for a second.
Bottom line?
Whether Lemwarm actually has 20K+ domains? I am not sure.
But I’m pretty sure the Smart Cluster is just a fancy-sounding upsell to justify the premium pricing.
4. Reporting Dashboard
I really liked Lemwarm’s reporting and monitoring dashboard.
It helped me visualize whether my email deliverability was improving or worsening.
I also liked that there were separate graphs for email and replies that Lemwarm was sending through my account.
It also clearly shows you how many of your emails are going to the inbox and spam folder.
This way, you can easily measure your email deliverability at a quick glance.
5. Custom Templates
This is only available with the Smart Plan!
With Lemwarm, you can warm up your email accounts with your own customized templates.
This can be a very helpful feature – or at least, that’s what you’re made to think.
I call it a fluff feature to bump the price!
Because any good email warm-up platform will make sure that the messages it sends aren’t junk, irrelevant, or spammy.
So, you really don’t have to feed your own templates just to make the system behave.
It’s more about giving you the illusion of control than actually boosting performance.
And even if you do see value in it—there’s another catch:
You can only test up to 5 templates.
That’s a bit limiting—especially considering the $49/month/inbox price tag.
These are all the features I used and tested during my time with Lemwarm’s Smart Plan.
Now that you’ve seen what it offers, let me break down the pros and cons of Lemwarm.
Lemwarm’s Pros and Cons
Here I have shared what I found worked well in Lemwarm and where it can be lacking.
Pros of Lemwarm:
- Email warmup setup is simple, even for non-technical users
- The DNS feature lets you check if your email account is set up correctly.
- The Lemwarm dashboard gives you detailed tips on how to improve deliverability.
- Lemwarm’s UI/UX is clean and easy to navigate.
Cons of Lemwarm:
- Doesn’t offer a free plan.
- Most of the advanced features are not available in the base plan.
- The Smart Cluster and Custom Template features felt more like fluff than real value.
- Expensive for what it offers, especially when compared to other tools in the market.
As you can see, the cons marginally outweigh the pros.
But let’s move on to the pricing to get a clearer picture.
Lemwarms’ Pricing Plans
Lemwarm offers two different pricing plans.
Let me break down both of them for you:
1. Essential Plan – $24/month/inbox (Billed Annually)
- Basic email warmup capabilities, including custom ramp-up
- Human-like warmup emails
- DNS Check that validates email authentication records
- A dashboard you can use to monitor your email deliverability
Who Should Use Lemwarm’s Essential Plan?
This plan might be good for you if you need to warm up only one email account or are just starting out with cold emailing.
It’ll give you all the essential features while keeping the price low.
2. Smart Plan – $40/month/inbox (Billed Annually)
This plan covers everything in the basic plan and also offers:
- 5 customized templates you can use for warm-up emails
- Human-like, personalized warmup emails
- Customized deliverability reports and tips on how to improve inbox placement
Who Should Use Lemwarm’s Smart Plan?
The Smart Plan can be helpful for SDRs or founders who want to test custom email templates.
However, this plan requires you to pay $40 for one email account per month, which is around $500/year per email account!
What Are the Users Saying?
Like I mentioned at the start, there’s barely anything out there in terms of real user reviews.
The one review I found on Trustpilot is outdated (2024) and brutally negative.

As a last resort, I hopped on Reddit to find out what the users were saying.
While I did find some reviews there, most of them were negative:
- One user said Lemwarm’s warm-up emails included spammy language (which defeats the whole purpose).
- Another pointed out that Lemwarm doesn’t even pull emails out of spam during warmup—something most deliverability tools should absolutely be doing.
That said, when I checked Lemlist’s G2 reviews (since Lemwarm is part of the platform) for email warm-up, most of the feedback was positive—and it matched my own experience: Users saying, “It works, but it’s expensive!”
The Best Lemwarm Alternative to Get the Job Done!
From my Lemwarm review breakdown, it should be clear:
Lemwarm is expensive for what it offers!
So, if you’re looking for an email warmup tool that improves your deliverability at a more competitive price, I suggest exploring TrulyInbox.

- It lets you connect unlimited email accounts for warmup.
- You can fully customize your email warmup process.
- It uses AI to send highly personalized warmup emails.
And the best part?
It comes with a forever-free plan to explore its features before subscribing to a plan!
So, sign up for TrulyInbox, connect your email account, and try it for free!
